My Vegan Week Challenge

"Vegan: A person who does not eat or use any animal products."

We all might know a vegan person or even heard about this term before. It's been getting really popular lately just because more celebrities are promoting and getting into the vegan lifestyle. I do have to say that it is a super strict eating habit that you will have to adopt, which if you don't have discipline it will be harder for you to follow a vegan lifestyle. 


In my case, I did put all the effort that I could, because I really wanted to see the results of it. Plus I'm starting to workout and trying to eat more healthy. Because I'm such a meat lover, I was suffering in some occasions. I've had never crave meat so much like I was craving that week of the challenge. But I did saw the results of my body inside and outside, and it was only for a week. 

I did my full research before I started this plan because I didn't know the full details about vegan meal plans. The first change that I noticed was, a detox in my body. It was like a natural detox or cleaning for my system, and I was feeling more lightweight as well. The other change that I noticed was with my weight and my body got slimmer than before. The first days I was okay with it, but after the third day I started to crave and kind of getting tired of eating vegetables often. But I had that focus on my mind of finishing that challenge. I promised myself that If I did finish it fully then I was going to reward me with a Big plate of Steak. At least that kept me motivated. I did finish the week strong and I was so happy that I actually did this challenge. I learnt a lot about it and started to appreciate and have some respect for Vegans and that lifestyle. I know I can't do it for the rest of my life, but I adopted some food and recipes that I would love to do it often. So, here are some pictures of the meals that I prepared in that Vegan Week Challenge.
